Which pays more?
Both pay performance-based comissions, the only difference is that you are an independent contractor through our On-Demand role and have uncapped income potential.

Through the W2 role, you are a full-time employee who receives not only a base salary + commission, but also health insurance, PTO, and a 401K.
Can I sell year-round in the On-Demand role?
Yes, but if you're selling Medicare majority of your sales will happen from October to March.

Outside of those 6 months, you'll mostly be selling Medicare Supplement plans.
Who do I report to in the On-Demand role?
To yourself! But really, you are legitimately your own boss in this role, so you don't have anyone to report to.

If you do need support or help, you are assigned a User Engagement Specialist (UES).
If I need support, who do I reach out to in the On-Demand role?
You are assigned a User Engagement Specialist (UES).

You will receive their email upon completing onboarding & training.
What's compensation like in each role?
It's variable, but rest assured very good. It all depends on how good of a producer you are.

Ultimately, you get paid a different commission amount, per the insurance policy (Ex. Advantage, Supplement) or carrier you sell.
Are you recruiting for Life or Health as well?

We currently do not have W2 opportunities for either Life or Health.
What are health benefits like for the W2?
Assurance will cover 80% of your health insurance (Premera Blue Cross & dental insurance plans (Delta Dental) .
Will you provide me a computer & headset?
No, you will need to have this yourself for either role.

If this is a blocker, please mention this to either your onboarding manager (On-Demand role) or recruiter (W2 role).
Are both roles COVID-safe and 100% remote?
Yes, both have fully-remote opportunities.

For the W2 role, we DO have hubs we've created across America where you can get training, community, and support in-person. However, 90% of all W2 agents will be remote.
Can I work from Europe or Asia?
At the moment, no! But you can work from anywhere in America :)
Do I get stock options?
No. But in the W2 role, you do get to enroll in a 401K program, after reaching your 1 year anniversary with Assurance!
